WOW! So this movie is pretty damn near perfect!
I had to keep repeating that statement in my head a few times before I typed it to make sure that’s how I truly feel about this movie. I can’t believe it’s true but my thoughts on Passengers are that it’s “Pretty damn near perfect!”. Now that is something you don’t get to say every day.
What I didn’t like about this movie was the soundtrack. I really did not like the music in this movie. I kept noticing myself be sidetracked by the back ground music with thoughts like”this music is really bad!” and out of place most of the time. I really can not fathom how this happened. If I were the director of this film watching the final cut right before release I would have stopped every thing, pushed back the release date and insisted they redid every last part of this sound track.I will say that the credit song was ok though, whatever that’s worth.
That being said, everything else was exceptional. From the acting to visuals to the plot. With the exception of some very unbelievable situations and a few storyline imperfection. I will gladly ignore these “flaws” the story & plot had to suspend disbelief long enough to fully enjoy my time watching this movie throughout!
I am still in shock over how this story affects you while watching it emotionally and physically, through reacting to the scenes. I look forward to watching this movie again.
My recommended viewing is large screen blu ray!
MR.SKULL Bone Rating: ( 9 out of 10 Bones)
I would have given is 10 out of 10 if it weren’t for the music sadly
Form of Viewing: Redbox Rental (Bluray)
